SCSB HALL OF FAME
SCSB opened its Hall of Fame in 1992, by inducting Founder Tom Harmon. Bill Macdonald and Matt Stevens were enshrined in January of 2020, as the 28th Class in the Hall of Fame's twenty-nine years of existence, bringing the total number of members in this talented group to forty-one. COVID has delayed any in-person events since then, but the radio team of Mason & Ireland, along with Lakers' Analyst Jose "Pepe" Mantilla, were SCSB's 2021 Hall of Fame Class, to be duly inducted, when live events resume, in 2024.
HOF membership includes household names like Scully, Enberg, Hearn and Keith Jackson, along with long-time So Cal legends, such as Jim Healy, Stu Nahan, Ralph Lawler, Jim Hill, Chris Roberts and Tom Kelly.
Of course, we are also fortunate that Hall of Famers of Bob Miller, Ross Porter, Pete Arbogast and Rob Fukuzaki can generally be seen at most of our events, here in the present day.
Part of our organization's mission is to honor individuals for both lifetime and special achievements in the field of broadcasting. The SCSB Hall of Fame seeks to do that for those who have made special contributions to the broadcasting landscape here in Southern California. We feel privileged to have been able to recognize these individuals over the last sixty-two years.
